Black truffle is found mainly in Spain in particular in the Teruel region, but it also may be found in the Périgord region in France. It has a strong flavour but less so than the white truffle for this reason it is very good to season salads, just adding a few drops after it has been dressed with Extra Virgin Olive oil and Balsamic. Balsamic vinegar and black truffle are an ideal combination. This product may also be used for fresh vegetable confits, for mushroom dishes or balsamic reduced sauces.
